VIRTUAL Course – Prerequisite Age: 9 to 13. Offered with Atout Plus Training Partner of the Canadian Red Cross. It allows your child to ensure their own safety and introduces them to first aid to help others in an emergency.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

  • The importance of taking responsibility by respecting safety rules.
  • Prepare for unforeseen events, recognize them and react well.
  • Prevention and Basic First Aid: Check, Call, Care (911) |     In case of choking | Asthma (use an inhaler) | Severe      allergy (use an auto-injector) | Poisoning (anti-poison      center) | Minor cuts, scratches, nosebleeds, bleeding, burns,      etc.

EQUIPMENT TO HAVE AT HOME

  • A computer with working audio, video and internet
  • The notebook received by mail
  • A lead pencil
  • Water and snack

COURSE MATERIALS INCLUDED

  • Ready to Stay Alone Activity Book from the Canadian Red Cross
  • Certificate of achievement (electronic)
